McShame

It was a Monday evening when Iriz asked if i was going home for buka puasa. Initially i was but i figured oh what the hell...so i decided to stay back. All the suggestions of what to eat came dancing around in our minds (somewhat the same way beer dances around Homer Simpson's mind "Beeeeerrrr..." *Drool*). Our favorite kway teow was out of the question as abang kway teow got married recently, closed his shop and is probably waiting for buka time to bonk his wife 'kway teow style'!!

So finally we settled for McDonalds. It turned out that McD's has a buffet eat-all-the-burgers-you-can during Ramadhan. The place was a mad house! There was a queue outside the establishment like the ones u see at Hard Rock Cafe.

I swear I've never seen so many burgers so skillfully stacked up on a tray...and for one bugger!!


We thought of going the modest way when the waitress came "Ok...saya nak satu Big Mac...satu sprite" until we were interrupted "Ala bang...takpe...abang ambik aje lebih...kang senang untuk abang and untuk kita...so sprite brapa? 4 ye??"

So when we finally got our order...i had to finish my share of:

and at last but not least,the one that nearly made me puked it out all away:

It was the McEgg that made me admit defeat...the soft egg inside my mouth nearly made me projectile vomit ala Exorcist (BRrreeeaaaaacckkkk!!!) on Iriz who was laughing looking at my almost puked out face and not knowing the icky fate that nearly befall upon him.

The table behind me was done and still had 2 trays of (4x4x4 Length x width x height) burgers and too scared/ashamed to go for the door.So, they sat there...even after we left...wondering what to do with all those burgers they didnt chow down...

I went home after that feeling ashamed of myself...sure in a gluttoness way, it was a personal achievement for me but..still ashamed.....kinda felt guilty here we were chugging down food and worse, wasting it, when some people starve around the other side of the world...
